Katie Noonan won her fourth ARIA Award yesterday, taking home Best Jazz Album with 'Blackbird: The Songs of Lennon & McCartney' at the Artisan & Fine Arts Awards announcement.


The Fine Arts Awards celebrate the finest Australian Jazz, Classical, World Music and Original Soundtrack/Cast/Show albums of the year.


'Blackbird: The Songs of Lennon and McCartney' is a collection songs recorded by Katie in New York, backed by the cream of veteran jazz players including Grammy award winning renowned saxophonist Joe Lovano, John Scofield, Ron Carter, Lewis Nash and Melbourne-based keyboard player Sam Keevers.
